Excel export doesnt work on PC either Re: Cannot export to Excel anymore with Quickbooks 2016 for MAC Export to Excel doesn't work on my Win 10/Office 365 Excel either. This is a recent decrement in feature because it worked in February of 2018 when I first. Fixing the F4 Button in Excel for Mac The F4 key in Excel for Windows is normally a shortcut key to Repeat the last command. In Excel for Mac the F4 key is assigned to the Paste command, which is driving me crazy so I decided to do something about it.
updating to the latest version did not help. But I found out the following (maybe you can reproduce):
- Select Calibri (Body) in size 8, 9 or 10
Excel For Mac 2018 Printable Calendar
- Create a text in a cell and use 'Wrap Text' to have the box automatically adjust height
- Select 'Top Align' for this cell
- Create an outline around the box (just so you see the result better)
- Goto 'Print' and select 'Open in Preview' from the PDF dropdown
- See that the text is being cut off at the bottom.
Now change the font size to 11 and let Excel auto-adjust cell height, repeat the above and voila, all is good.
But.... choosing size 12 and have Excel adjust height automatically will result in a blank line at the bottom!
Changing the font to Arial looks even worse:
This happens on a 'clean' worksheet, nothing was copied from other worksheets.... My OS is Mac 10.13 (High Sierra)
I also added a 'fake' printer to ensure this is not caused by any printer parameters, but this did not work either. If I look at my Printer scree, I can already recognize that things will not look good!
